Blimey_Its_Just_A_Game was a member of the REBRN clan and had been fighting Cancer for over a year. Unfortunately his treatment was unsuccessful and there was nothing more the doctors could do. To use his own words; "Now I am on no treatment whatsoever as they can do nothing more that helps me. I’m trying to make it to my birthday in January but that’s looking unlikely". Unfortunately he was right and he sadly passed away on Tuesday 4th January 2022 with his wife and family by his side.

We had hoped to do this Marathon Stream while he was alive so he could see the results but he became too ill too quickly to get it all arranged in time. We would have done it earlier in the year but did not want to do it in Blimey's name until we had permission from his family. They are very happy that we are doing this.

The stream will start at 10am UK time on Saturday 2nd April 2022 and end at 10am on Sunday 3rd ? 24hrs ? That was the original plan, but it's GROWN a bit since then ! See the schedule below.

The Marathon has been organised by the REBORN Clan and is in aid of "Cancer Research UK", the world leader in it's field. Nobody in REBORN has access to any of the funds whatsoever. Please RAID whoever is on the schedule at the time your stream ends.

IF YOU ARE A PARTICIPATING STREAMER (or want to be !)

The OVERLAY for the streams can be used by anyone taking part. It will put a donations alert on your stream, as donations come in. This may take a few minutes though. The size should be set to 1280 x 720. Please make sure you tick the 2 boxes labeled "Shutdown source when not visible" and "Refresh browser when scene becomes active". If you want to do a test to make sure it's been done correctly, please message me (Zoe) so I can click the test button for you.

Please try to set your STREAM TITLE to include "24hr Charity Relay in Aid of Cancer Research UK" if possible and remember that all these streams are On Behalf Of and In Memory Of Blimey_Its_Just_A_Game.

PLEASE TRY TO BE ON TIME !! In fact could all the SCHEDULED streamers please start your streams about 10 mins earlier than your allotted time as the streamer before you may need to leave/raid on time.
